Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive technology/software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or people management experience.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices.
• Experience leading teams responsible for enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with cloud-based application development.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with containers and modern application deployment practices
• Experience designing and integrating APIs
• Experience modernizing legacy applications or transitioning to newer architectures
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack software engineers
• Provide technical direction while remaining involved in architecture, design, and complex engineering decisions
• Drive delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions
• Establish engineering standards and improve development processes
• Partner with Product, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and other technology teams
• Lead application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Support Agile development practices and modern CI/CD processes
• Help define technical roadmaps aligned with business priorities
• Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management, and development of engineering talent
• Manage project priorities, delivery timelines, technical risks, and team capacity
• Promote automation, testing, reliability, and continuous improvement
• Communicate technical strategy, progress, and risks to both technical and business stakeholders
