Job summary

Fanatics seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Client Platform Team across iOS, Android, and Web for Live and Collect apps. You will mentor engineers, drive platform initiatives, and improve release reliability and observability while partnering with Product, Design, QA, and Infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, architectural judgment, and scalable engineering practices to enable faster, safer product delivery across Fanatics’ Live and Collect ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing and developing engineers.
• Experience leading client platform, frontend, mobile, or cross‑platform engineering teams across iOS, Android, and/or Web.
• Strong judgment around delivery, quality, architecture, performance, reliability, and technical tradeoffs.
• Experience improving release quality, observability, developer productivity, CI/CD health, or platform reliability.
• Ability to lead through influence across multiple product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers across iOS, Android, and Web client platforms.
• Drive platform initiatives to improve developer productivity and release reliability.
• Set clear expectations, priorities, and success metrics for the Client Platform Team.
• Improve CI/CD health, observability, and testing practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, SRE/Infrastructure on planning and execution.
• Mentor and grow engineers, foster ownership and continuous improvement.
