Job summary

Siemens seeks a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the Smart Infrastructure Electronics R&D team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will guide all mechanical tasks across the product lifecycle for high-volume residential, commercial, and industrial power products.

The role requires 10+ years in electromechanical leadership, Creo/Teamcenter experience, and deep UL standards knowledge. Travel domestically and internationally is expected, with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years in product development, engineering or technical leadership with electromechanical products.
• Leading engineering teams and complex projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Product design, verification, validation, regulatory certification, and change control.
• Collaborating with manufacturing and geographically distributed teams.
• Applying UL standards: UL 489, UL 943, UL 1699, UL 61010.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on power products for residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
• Manage mechanical design across the full product lifecycle: development, prototyping, testing, validation, certification, launch, and sustaining support.
• Partner with electrical hardware, software, test, integration, product management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and field teams to deliver complete product solutions.
• Guide engineering priorities, resources, budgets, project schedules, tradeoffs, risks, and leadership communication.
• Support compliance with UL, NEC, and ANSI standards including UL 489, UL 943, UL 1699, UL 61010.
• Support product launches and production ramp-up for high-volume products with factory teams.
