Harvey is redefining how legal work is done by embedding AI-powered experiences into familiar tools like Word, Outlook, and Slack. We’re seeking an Engineering Manager for Embedded Experiences to lead full‑stack teams delivering agentic workflows and handoff moments, while partnering with Product and Design to ship high-impact features inside the Microsoft ecosystem.

You’ll own delivery of reliable, scalable surfaces, guide architectural decisions, and coach engineers to excel in a fast-growing

Qualifications

3–5 years of software engineering management in a growth environment.
5–7 years as a full stack or backend engineer with shipping product.
Proven track record leading high-performing engineering teams.
Experience with modern frontend and backend stacks (React, Python/Node/Go).

Responsibilities

Lead full‑stack pod(s) building Harvey's embedded surfaces (Word/Outlook add-ins, Slack, MCP).
Own delivery of agentic experiences in documents and inbox contexts.
Collaborate with Product and Design to translate charter into quarterly roadmaps.
Drive reliability, latency, and cost-per-query on high-traffic surfaces.
Contribute to code and architecture reviews; unblock teams and lead by example.
Hire, grow, and retain engineers in a high-trust, high-impact environment.
