Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare. We seek an Engineering Manager to lead the Orchestrator team, responsible for the end-to-end intake, data extraction, coordination, and EHR write-back across multiple patient referral channels.

Qualifications

• Direct experience building software that integrates with EHRs.
• Working fluency in healthcare interoperability: HL7 v2, FHIR, and interface engines.
• Strong full‑stack engineering background with production services experience.
• At least 1 year managing engineers, on top of 5+ years as an IC engineer.
• Comfort with ambiguity; requirements come from observing workflows.
• Track record of building products serving many customers, not just one.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for Orchestrator end to end: intake pipeline, coordinator-facing application, voice automation, and EHR write-back.
• Grow the team through hiring, and raise the technical bar as you do it.
• Stay technical: design docs, code reviews, and production incidents.
• Set the integration strategy across HL7 v2, FHIR, and UI automation.
• Prepare the system for higher scale: more referrals, users, and integrations.
• Collaborate with customers including IT teams to translate needs into reusable abstractions.
• Turn conversations into a generalized product rather than per‑account forks.
• Coach engineers to take on larger scope and meet expectations.
