Job summary

Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare that streamlines care delivery, documentation, and financing. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end integration across 40+ EMRs, enabling seamless data flow for Revenue Cycle Management and Ambient products.

You’ll design scalable integration solutions, leverage LLM tech for reverse-engineering health records, and collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages like Python, Go, or C++.
• Proficiency in frontend languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, databases, and monitoring tools.
• Proven track record of end-to-end solutions and architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions between our platform and third-party healthcare systems with high performance and scalability.
• Leverage cutting-edge LLM technology to automate reverse-engineering of electronic health records.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to gather requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the integration platform with architectural improvements.
• Own end-to-end integration workflows from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and ensure reliable integrations in production.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR and coordinate with security teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote high-quality code standards.
• Drive best practices for testing, error handling, version control, and CI.
