Job summary
Thomson Reuters is seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering for CoCounsel FDE to lead engineers embedded with customers, translating ambiguous problems into scalable AI/ML solutions across the lifecycle.
You'll guide architecture, drive MLOps practices, hire and coach engineers, and partner with Product, Project Management, and Technical Operations to deliver high-impact AI components and a reusable framework.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software/solutions engineering with 2+ years in people management.
- Experience leading forward‑deployed/solutions engineering teams.
- Proven customer‑facing experience and ability to translate requirements to tech.
- Strong Python and AWS experience, including Bedrock AgentCore and CDK.
- Experience deploying LLM‑powered agents and production observability.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Forward Deployed Engineering project teams.
- Architect scalable, secure AI/software solutions across the lifecycle.
- Drive AI/ML innovation, ML Ops practices, testing and monitoring.
- Manage and develop engineering talent.
- Own technical delivery across multiple projects and budgets where applicable.
- Collaborate with Product, Project Management, and Technical Operations.
