SeatGeek is seeking a senior engineering leader for the SupportX team to shape the fan‑support experience. You will guide Backend, Frontend and AI engineers, defining the technical vision for core support tools and integrations while ensuring high usability and reliability.

You will mentor managers, collaborate with product and design, and drive cross‑functional alignment with leadership. This role is remote‑friendly with equity and discretionary bonus opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years as an engineer with a coding focus.
• 2+ years as an engineering manager of productive teams.
• Proven track record shipping UX that elevates high-stakes customer experiences.
• Experience in marketplace product orgs is a plus.
• Ability to lead lean teams and foster inclusive environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with product and design.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools for AI agent optimization and support tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a team of Backend, Frontend and applied AI engineers.
• Own the technical vision for SeatGeek's core support tools and integrations.
• Rapidly build and iterate tools to boost fan experience while maintaining operational excellence.
• Perform code and architecture reviews and provide feedback.
• Provide regular performance feedback and career development to direct reports.
• Collaborate with Product to align team roadmap with business goals.
• Select new and work with existing technology vendors; build vs buy decisions.
• Contribute hands-on to features when needed.
• Communicate decisions and unblock blockers; collaborate with leaders across the org.
• Play an active role in recruiting to grow the engineering team.
