Personify Health, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager to lead an AI Feature team building PercyIQ, our AI-powered discovery and conversation experience for health content.

This role blends hands-on engineering management with deep exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM orchestration, and safety guardrails in a regulated healthcare context. You will direct backend, frontend, and QA/automation engineers, own sprint delivery and on-call operations, and partner with Product, UX, Legal,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in an engineering management or tech lead role.
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems (LLMs, RAG, orchestration).
• Experience with conversational AI or chatbot platforms and human escalation.
• Comfort operating in a regulated healthcare environment with PHI/PII handling.
• Experience with event-driven data pipelines (Kafka, S3, Snowflake).
• Strong production operations: on-call ownership, incident response, observability.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, UX, and clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead an AI Feature team responsible for PercyIQ and its end-to-end AI systems.
• Own delivery of PercyIQ's AI/RAG-powered search across Web, iOS, and Android.
• Oversee analytics infrastructure for AI feature usage reporting.
• Ensure AI guardrails, safety, and privacy protections are in place.
• Manage production operations, on-call readiness, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Legal, and clinical stakeholders on roadmap.
