Job summary

Runpod is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact product engineering team building customer-facing features across Runpod’s console, APIs, and developer workflows. You’ll take ownership of a roadmap area end-to-end - partnering with Product and Design to shape scope, then guiding your team through architecture, execution, quality, and launch.

Qualifications

• Engineering management experience: 2+ years leading a software team.
• 6+ years as a software engineer shipping products used by millions of users.
• Systems-level depth in Linux or cloud platforms, ideally building platform capabilities.
• Backend or full-stack proficiency with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, eventing, and cloud-native patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own feature delivery for a product area and ship new functionality.
• Plan and execute roadmaps with clear milestones and success metrics.
• Drive system design for scalable, reliable product services.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineers in a remote-first environment.
• Improve testing, release safety, observability, and on-call health.
• Collaborate with Product, Program management, Support, GTM, and Infra.
• Establish rituals and delivery systems to improve cycle time and adoption.
• Prioritize based on user feedback and analytics signals.
