Job summary

NetDocuments is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the AI Assistant engineering team. You will guide a group of engineers building secure, AI-enabled features that work across Word, Outlook, and search within NetDocuments.

You will shape the roadmap, collaborate with product and design, and ensure high quality, scalable delivery while maintaining a strong security posture and trust with customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software.
• Working familiarity with modern AI, including LLMs and agentic systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5–6 software engineers and software test engineers.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform engineering to turn customer needs into scalable software solutions.
• Define and execute a roadmap that balances customer impact, technical excellence, and long-term platform durability.
• Provide technical leadership on modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, cloud architectures on AWS, observability, and secure design.
