Job summary

NetDocuments is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the AI Assistant team within the ndMAX program from Lehi, Utah. You will guide a group of software and test engineers, collaborating with Product, Design, and platform teams to translate customer needs into scalable, secure AI-enabled features.

You will shape architecture, drive a pragmatic roadmap, and mentor engineers while maintaining high quality and delivery velocity in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams including software and test engineers.
• Working familiarity with modern AI, including large language models and agentic systems.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale, customer-facing software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high performing team of software and test engineers.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform engineering to translate customer needs into scalable software.
• Drive a roadmap balancing customer impact, technical excellence, and platform durability.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural input for reliable, secure software with observability.
• Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to align priorities and deliverables.
