Job summary

Ralliant seeks an Engineering Manager, Advanced Products in Connecticut to lead a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical engineers. You will translate customer opportunities into robust concepts and enabling technologies, expanding from individual contribution to team leadership.

You will guide requirements, manage risk reduction, and mentor senior engineers while partnering with Product Management to align technical solutions with market needs.

Qualifications

• Progression from individual contributor to technical or team leadership.
• Strong electrical engineering foundation with cross‑functional breadth.
• Experience translating customer/market needs into requirements and concepts.
• Experience reducing technical uncertainty through analysis, prototyping and testing.
• Mentoring and developing others while maintaining ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced product development from opportunity to concept design freeze.
• Build and lead a high‑performing multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Guide sensing, electronic, and electromechanical product development.
• Drive technical discovery and risk reduction through requirements, architecture, and prototyping.
• Shape technology roadmaps and product architectures with capability gaps and reusable tech.
• Partner with Product Management to align customer opportunities with technical readiness.
• Lead through technical judgment and maintain engineering rigor.
