Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Senior Project Design Engineer to lead complex product design and realization from concept through production release. You will apply advanced mechanical design and DFx expertise to balance performance, reliability, materials, tolerances, manufacturability, and cost while guiding others through difficult decisions.

You will develop and release complete product definitions using SolidWorks, manage engineering changes, and contribute to practical design standards in partnership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 7+ years of mechanical design or product realization experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks for complex assemblies and drawings.
• Experience with CAD/PDM, ERP, and product-configuration environments.
• Strong DFx knowledge balancing manufacturability, cost, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product design and realization from concept to production release.
• Apply DFx and manufacturing-process knowledge to optimize design for manufacturability.
• Develop complete product definitions using SolidWorks and related docs.
• Lead design reviews, guide peers, and manage risk and decisions.
• Collaborate across CAD/PDM, ERP, and engineering teams to balance constraints.
• Contribute to design standards and practical guidance with management.
