Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering AWS Analytics services in air-gapped environments. You will drive architecture, automation and team growth while aligning with government customers’ needs and AWS standards.

Ideal candidates have deep experience with large-scale distributed systems, DevOps, and strong leadership. TS/SCI clearance eligibility is required and sponsorship is available for commensurate clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) among basic qualifications.
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems.
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or web services.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor and develop a team of engineers.
• Define team structure and strategy to meet business goals.
• Establish and deliver an engineering roadmap with annual planning alignment.
• Provide end-to-end ownership of team systems (design, code quality, health).
