Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
U.S. Citizenship required
Familiarity with Ford Class system design and PLM systems is desirable but not required
Ability to work 1st shift
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

Supervise a group of engineers and developers
Oversee detailed checks of VWIs (Visual Work Instructions) across multiple systems
Ensure VWIs are clear, accurate, and fully support execution in the shipyard
Focus on installation practices
Monitor and maintain production, cost, and throughput goals
Support the Integrated Digital Shipbuilding program's transition from legacy 2D drawings
