Engineering Manager | Remote (Europe/Eastern Europe)

We are working with a fast-growing DeFi financial services firm to hire an Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team across two workstreams: a major protocol integration with one of DeFi’s largest platforms and their own internal financial product development.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own delivery end-to-end, lead a 17-person distributed team of engineers, quants, and analysts, and establish the engineering structure needed to scale.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across external protocol commitments and internal product roadmap simultaneously
• Lead planning, standups, reviews and retrospectives across a distributed team spanning Europe, Australia and Argentina
• Coordinate engineers, quants and analysts, managing dependencies and communication with external technical partners
• Write and implement engineering SOPs including preparation for initial SOC 2 attainment
• Develop people through coaching, feedback and career development

Requirements

• 12+ years experience with a strong engineering foundation and progression into leadership
• Experience combining people management with agile delivery and direct external partner collaboration
• Technical depth in backend systems, financial infrastructure or complex integrations
• Track record of scaling teams from 10-15 to 30+ people
