Job summary

Starfish Partners is partnering with a growing robotics and industrial automation company to hire an Engineering Manager to lead a small mechanical engineering team. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on solving complex engineering challenges while mentoring others.

You'll provide technical direction for custom robotics and automation systems, oversee mechanical design from concept through build, and collaborate with controls, manufacturing, PM, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Robotics and industrial automation experience required.
• Engineering degree preferred; significant relevant experience will be considered.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
• Robotics and industrial automation experience required
• Previous engineering leadership or team lead experience
• Automation integrator experience strongly preferred
• SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD experience
• Automotive automation experience is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Engineering degree preferred; significant relevant experience will be considered
