Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Major Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a small mechanical engineering team
• Provide technical direction for custom robotics and automation systems
• Oversee mechanical design from concept through build and implementation
• Serve as a technical resource for engineers, customers, and internal teams
• Review designs, troubleshoot challenges, and improve engineering processes
• Collaborate with controls, manufacturing, project management, and leadership
• Help maintain project schedules and engineering standards

Minimum Skills & Abilities

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
• Robotics and industrial automation experience required
• Previous engineering leadership or team lead experience
• Strong custom machine/system design background
• Automation integrator experience strongly preferred
• SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD experience
• Automotive automation experience is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Engineering degree preferred; significant relevant experience will be considered
