Job description

Mechanical Engineer – Robotics & Automation

If you're a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys building real-world automation systems, not just designing them on a screen, this is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotic technology that's transforming modern manufacturing.

You’ll play a key role in designing robotic welding cells, fixtures, and automation equipment that solve complex manufacturing challenges. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take designs from concept through prototype, validation, and production while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

What You'll Do

  • Design robotic welding fixtures, tooling, and automation cell layouts.

  • Create production-ready 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks.

  • Perform FEA analysis to validate designs and improve performance.

  • Integrate mechanical, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical components into automated systems.

  • Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and support equipment builds in a manufacturing environment.

  • Drive continuous improvement through design updates, engineering changes, and standardization efforts.

  • Partner with manufacturing teams to improve cost, quality, and scalability.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience designing automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.

  • Strong SolidWorks skills, including FEA and manufacturing drawings.

  • Experience with fixture design, mechanical assemblies, and production equipment.

  • Familiarity with pneumatics, machine safety, and engineering change processes.

  • Someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems on the shop floor, and seeing designs come to life.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Work on advanced robotics and automation technology with real-world impact.

  • Collaborate with a highly technical, innovative engineering team.

  • A collaborative culture where engineers have ownership, influence, and the opportunity to solve meaningful technical challenges every day.
