Job summary

Jobot’s Charlotte, NC location seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager for medical devices to lead a talented engineering team through product development, transfer to manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred) and 7+ years of medical device experience, plus Lean/Six Sigma, process validation, and ERP/SolidWorks familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing, product/process transfer, and design transfer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and process development.
• Experience with process validation, process capability, GR&R, and statistical analysis.
• FDA-regulated and/or ISO 13485 experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and mentoring engineers.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience with automation, ERP systems, and SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, project management, and hands-on manufacturing skills

Job Details
