Real Staffing is partnering with a medical device manufacturer in Southern California to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. The role focuses on leading process development, automation initiatives, and manufacturing excellence in a highly regulated environment.

You will drive improvements across workflows, layouts, and methods while mentoring engineers and collaborating with quality and operations teams to ensure robust processes and successful product introductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong background in process development, automation, and project management.
  • Experience within highly regulated or precision manufacturing industries such as medical devices, aerospace, defense, or similar sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with machining, metal fabrication, tooling, fixtures, or plastics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform technical problem-solving.
  • Experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 is highly desirable.
  • SolidWorks or other 3D CAD experience preferred.
