Job summary

AFB International seeks an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to oversee all process and production equipment, staff, and plant facilities for safe, efficient operations at our plant. You will lead the maintenance and engineering teams and partner with project teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting expertise, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a high-volume, 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in maintenance/engineering management in manufacturing.
• Experience in food, flavor, or feed industries; SQF experience desired.
• Strong leadership and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering and Maintenance teams and supervise staff.
• Manage departmental budgets and project capital plans.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with policies.
• Oversee equipment selection, installation, and start-up.
• Travel up to 10%.
