AFB International is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager for our 24/7 production facility in Missouri. The role leads the maintenance staff and plant engineers, oversees budgets and capital projects, and partners with contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 6+ years in maintenance/engineering leadership, plus experience in manufacturing environments. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years related experience, with at least two years progressive experience in maintenance/engineering management.
• Experience in a SQF-certified manufacturing environment strongly desired.
• Kaizen, Lean/Six Sigma, or business operating systems with heavy process orientation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and supervision for the maintenance and engineering staff and plant supervisors.
• Manage and maintain plant maintenance and engineering budgets.
• Develop and execute capital and expense plans; oversee project design, procurement, installation and start-up.
• Ensure safety, quality, reliability, and production targets are met in a non-union setting.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance and spare parts programs.
