Job summary

Htprof in Mansfield, OH is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead a fast-paced team responsible for driving manufacturing excellence. The role reports to Plant Manager and oversees both engineering and maintenance across a multi-shift operation, delivering improvements and cost savings.

Qualified candidates have a technical degree and 3+ years in engineering management within a manufacturing setting, preferably automotive.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering management experience, ideally in automotive or fast-paced mass production.
Experience managing others and leading multi-discipline teams.
Strong background in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
Experience overseeing budgets and capital planning.
Experience working in automated environments and with PLCs/robotics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data tools.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and mentor the engineering and maintenance teams.
Oversee annual capital equipment budget and track expenditures.
Drive continuous improvement projects and reduce bottlenecks.
Support electrical/automation troubleshooting and commissioning of new equipment.
Lead project execution to meet timelines and budgets.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Oversee external contractors and safety compliance.
Report KPIs and project/status updates to senior management.
