Job summary

Pentair’s Leadership Development Internship Program offers a 12-week summer experience with hands-on projects, mentorship, networking, and intern-focused programming to build leadership skills.

You’ll work on a real-world strategic project, join a cohort of peers across the company, and present results to Pentair leaders at the program's end, with potential for future full-time opportunities. Sessions run in multiple U.S. locations, at $34/hour, ~40 hours/week, with relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university.
• Junior standing (preferred graduation Spring 2028).
• Willing to work during the summer at one of our Internship locations (New Brighton, MN; White Bear Lake, MN; Hanover Park, IL; North Aurora, IL; Apex, NC; Sanford, NC; Bishop Woods, WI; Delavan, WI; Manitowoc, WI).
• Interest in Pentair’s Engineering Leadership Development Program (3-year rotational program requiring relocation across the United States).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on a real-world, strategic project assigned for the internship.
• Present project objectives, processes, and results to leadership at the program's end.
• Collaborate with a diverse cohort and mentors to develop professional skills.
• Participate in intern-focused programming, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
