Ladders is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering organization delivering customer-facing experiences and partner-facing platform capabilities. You will shape technical strategy, coordinate execution across teams, and balance short-term delivery with long-term platform investment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a leader who values inclusive teams and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with leadership
• Proven track record delivering customer-facing products across teams
• Experience shaping multi-quarter strategies and balancing short-term and long-term goals

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team across multiple products
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define product and engineering strategies and outcomes
• Translate business needs into clear priorities balancing experimentation with platform investment
• Coordinate work across teams to align ownership and sequencing for partner experience
• Anticipate dependencies and risks and establish early resolution mechanisms
• Maintain high engineering standards and guide secure, reliable APIs
• Use partner feedback and service metrics to inform product decisions and learning
