Job summary

Edwards Vacuum seeks a Technical Project and Engineering Lead to own planning, coordination, and execution of engineering-led projects across cross-functional teams. You will drive NPI, lifecycle management, and technical documentation from concept through launch in a hybrid on-site/off-site setting at our Sanborn, NY center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5-7 years industrial experience in vacuum-related environments.
• Experience with vacuum pump service and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in reverse engineering products.
• Experience in bringing new products to market.
• Experience creating SOPs and work instructions.
• PM skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Initiative (NPI) projects from concept through launch.
• Manage engineering-led projects with plans, timelines, deliverables, resources and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge assets.
• Provide engineering leadership for problem solving and corrective actions.
• Support product launches with documentation and training.
