Job summary

Peak Design is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead cross-functional coordination across product, manufacturing, and supply chain during new product introductions and launches. Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with hands-on project management requiring coordination across multiple teams and tracking detailed milestones across multiple concurrent projects.
• Able to work 3 days a week from our office in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.
• Strong systems thinking and a drive to optimize workflow and efficiency, with the ability to navigate unexpected roadblocks through rational problem solving.
• Familiarity with mass production of consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Own the project development schedule end-to-end, staying closely connected with the product team to track and support hitting milestones, proactively flagging delays, and adjusting plans as needed.
• Participate in the product development process, contributing logistical support to keep the project on track and support the product development team.
• Maintain and communicate the NPI (New Product Introduction) schedule across cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone stays aligned on rollout timing and changes.
• Coordinate sample logistics globally, ensuring the right people receive what they need with shipping properly managed across all locations.
• Join evening vendor calls (~1–2 per week) with product team members to confirm factories are tracking to schedule and that timelines are realistic given factory capacity.
• Own the details as the last line of defense against things falling through the cracks.
