Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a senior leader to direct the Enterprise Developer Experience and the SDLC platform, guiding a team of engineers and contractors. You will set strategic roadmaps, drive platform governance, and partner across Architecture, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Application Development to improve developer productivity and secure software delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum 9 years of combined higher education and/or work experience with 4 years in engineering/architecture and 3 years in leadership.
Experience leading enterprise platforms, DevOps, platform engineering, and developer tooling.
Knowledge of GitLab, SonarQube, and software supply chain security.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Lead Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Engineers for Enterprise Developer Experience and SDLC platform services.
Set priorities, performance expectations, staffing strategies, and succession planning.
Provide technical direction for enterprise developer platforms and governance.
Drive architectural guidance for platform designs, upgrades, and modernization.
Partner with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Application Development teams to improve productivity.
Lead incident response, RCA, and continuous improvement for developer platforms.
