Job summary

Greenix Pest Control is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to own the ecommerce platform and set technical direction for a small development team. You will be hands-on—architecting, building, and maintaining the ecomm/web platform while guiding a junior engineer and coordinating with an external contractor.

This role combines coding with technical leadership, including DevOps practices, API-first architecture, and collaboration across backend, data projects, and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ecommerce preferred.
• Full-stack experience across modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Hands-on in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React/Angular or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, development, and maintenance of the ecommerce platform and website.
• Drive site performance, SEO improvements, and conversion metrics using analytics.
• Prioritize backlog and direct a junior engineer and an external AI/agent contractor.
• Review code and mentor engineers; raise engineering standards.
• Coordinate with external contractor on AI/agent initiatives and MCP server work.
