As the Technology Lead, Experience Engineering, you will lead the development and optimization of customer-facing digital experiences across our marketing and ecommerce platforms. You will manage a small, high-performing team responsible for delivering scalable, modern web solutions that improve customer engagement, conversion, and business results.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration. You will champion agile delivery practices, drive frontend engineering excellence, and help advance the adoption of AI-powered development tools and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four developers and offshore contractors.
• Deliver customer-facing web and ecommerce features and enhancements.
• Partner with Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to define priorities and execute digital initiatives.
• Design and develop scalable frontend applications, component libraries, and reusable solutions.
• Contribute directly to critical development and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with platform teams on CMS, ecommerce, and API integrations.
• Monitor site performance, user behavior, and business metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Use testing, experimentation, and analytics to improve engagement and conversion.
• Promote best practices in code quality, accessibility, performance, and SEO.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.
• Build a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented engineering culture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise with modern frontend technologies, including React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Webflow or comparable CMS platforms.
• Experience building design systems or component libraries.
• Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Experience integrating headless CMS platforms, ecommerce solutions, and APIs.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, or similar technologies within the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ecommerce or high-traffic consumer websites.
• Familiarity with headless CMS and composable architecture approaches.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or personalization.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency.
