Job summary

Greenix Holdings, LLC is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to own our ecommerce and web platform, setting technical direction for a small, high-leverage development team. You'll be hands-on – architecting, building, and maintaining the platform yourself – while guiding a junior engineer and coordinating with an external contractor building our AI/agent enablement tools (MCP servers, agent workflows).

This is a working technical lead role: most of your week is still spent writing code and solving

Qualifications

• 5 years of software engineering experience, with ecommerce platform focus.
• Full-stack development across modern front-end and back-end tech.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and web analytics tools.
• DevOps experience—CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience directing engineers/contractors; prioritizing work.
• Strong communication and leadership for a small team.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus React/Angular or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, development, and maintenance of Greenix's ecommerce platform and website.
• Drive site performance, technical SEO, and conversion metrics using analytics.
• Manage backlog and prioritize work for junior engineer and external AI/agent contractor.
• Review code and raise engineering standards across backend and data projects.
• Coordinate with external contractor on AI/agent and MCP server initiatives.
• Apply DevOps practices across CI/CD and infrastructure for web/ecomm systems.
• Work full-stack to keep the ecomm/web roadmap moving.
• Shape API-first architecture for front-end experiences.
• Shape AI development practices for the company.
