Job summary

IRIS Software Group in Boston seeks an hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a delivery team focusing on document capture, storage, workflow and retrieval in our accountancy product suite. You’ll balance delivery, technical leadership and people management to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You’ll own architecture for ingestion, storage and search, enforce security standards, drive CI/CD and testing, and grow engineers into leaders while maintaining team health and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to modernise established codebases while delivering.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: scope, sequence and deliver quarterly OKRs with predictable cadence.
• Technical Leadership: own architecture for document ingestion, storage and retrieval at scale; enforce security standards; drive CI/CD and testing.
• People Management: line manage engineers, grow senior engineers, maintain team health.
