Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive delivery, architecture, and people development for a document management and workflow platform embedded in our accountancy product suite. You will guide an autonomous team across ingestion, storage, retrieval and integration at scale.

The role emphasizes security, observability, automated testing, and CI/CD discipline, while responsibly integrating AI tooling to improve engineering workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with delivery or technical leadership.
• Experience in Agile environments delivering complex projects.
• Document, content or records management systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: scope and deliver quarterly OKRs, ensure predictable progress, manage stakeholder communication.
• Technical Leadership: own architecture for ingestion, storage, retrieval and integration at scale; enforce security standards.
• People Management: line management, performance reviews, career development, team health.
