Job summary

Motus is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide two teams supporting our core Vehicle product. You will build server-side applications, shape technical strategy, and foster engineer growth in a product-focused environment.

You will drive roadmap priorities, manage delivery across teams, and champion operational excellence while mentoring a distributed engineering staff and collaborating with stakeholders for business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5–9+ years in engineering leadership or management roles.
• 5–9+ years building server-side applications using Java/Spring.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Mature the OpEx team with reliable incident response and stability practices.
• Define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and align work with business value.
• Drive planning, execution, and delivery with rigorous quality and documentation.
