Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medical device product development, testing, manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
• Proven leadership and project management experience in a technical environment.
• Extensive knowledge of medical device product development processes and applicable domestic and international standards.
• Strong understanding of engineering testing methodologies, verification and validation processes, and test method development.
• Experience developing and executing protocols related to product design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and statistical analysis techniques to solve technical challenges.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience training, supervising, and developing technical staff.
• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated, compliance‑driven environment while maintaining a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a repeated basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Lab Operations and direct daily activities of laboratory and testing personnel.
• Ensure laboratory operations meet safety, data integrity, product reliability, and testing quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet schedules and cost objectives.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration, and safety inspections of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain expertise in applicable testing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry practices.
• Support Product Development and Testing by overseeing test methods for performance, reliability, and safety.
