Tech Talent Link, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Laboratory Manager to lead the Engineering Lab team responsible for maintenance, design transfer, and continuous improvement of cutting-edge medical devices.

The role drives sustaining support, prototyping, and testing for products in development, while growing technicians and engineers and ensuring process excellence. Responsibilities include overseeing lab operations, mentoring staff, managing resources, and coordinating with Production,

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering team leadership and staff development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PCB design from concept through manufacturing transfer and post-release support (DFM/DFT).
• Thorough knowledge of electrical engineering principles including failure analysis and risk-based decision making.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance and QMS for Medical Device.
• Experience with hardware development life cycle from development to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Engineering Laboratory team for development and post-release sustaining of medical devices.
• Mentor and grow Laboratory Technicians and Engineers.
• Manage and allocate Laboratory resources and workloads.
• Resolve engineering support escalations from internal and external sources.
• Lead engineering change control processes across design and manufacturing interfaces.
• Own Laboratory systems, standards, and tools to meet goals.
• Maintain high technical standards and ensure quality aligns with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Service, Regulatory, and Quality teams.
