Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Engineering Lab Manager in Salt Lake City, UT to lead the Engineering Lab testing organization, oversee verification and validation activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

The role includes managing laboratory personnel and delivering high-quality testing services for medical device programs. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in medical device product development or related fields, strong leadership, and expertise in testing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medical device product development, testing, manufacturing, or related engineering field.
Proven leadership and project management experience in a technical environment.
Extensive knowledge of medical device product development processes and applicable domestic and international standards.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineering Lab Operations: Direct daily activities of laboratory and testing personnel and ensure safety, data integrity, and testing quality.
Support Product Development and Testing: Oversee development and execution of test methods and verification/validation standards.
Provide Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Serve as technical consultant and collaborate with quality, marketing, operations, and customer teams.
Develop People and Build Capability: Coach and develop staff with performance reviews and career planning.
