Job summary

Moog is seeking an Engineering Lab Manager to lead the laboratory testing organization, oversee design verification and validation activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. You will manage laboratory personnel, support medical device product development, and deliver high‑quality testing services for safety and reliability.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medical device product development, testing, manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven leadership and project management experience in a technical environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical device product development processes and applicable domestic and international standards.
  • Strong understanding of engineering testing methodologies, verification and validation processes, and test method development.
  • Experience developing and executing protocols related to product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles and statistical analysis techniques to solve technical challenges.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience training, supervising, and developing technical staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly regulated, compliance‑driven environment while maintaining a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a repeated basis.

Our team is looking for an Engineering Lab Manager to join us. This position is responsible for managing laboratory personnel, supporting medical device product development programs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services that support product safety, reliability, and performance.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medical device product development, testing, manufacturing, or a related engineering field
