Job summary

Phillips Medisize Engineering Internship Program is a 12-week summer 2027 opportunity across Wisconsin (Hudson and Phillips). Interns will join teams to support product development, manufacturing strategies, quality assurance, and cross-functional projects in a hands-on, in-person setting.

Open to engineering students, the program runs from late May to mid-August 2027 with location preferences requested during application.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering degree or alternative program.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a focused team of engineers to support the product development process, ensuring robust design and manufacturability.
• Develop and implement a cost-effective manufacturing strategy for new products to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure top quality by updating work instructions, resolving quality issues, and maintaining engineering records.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining Engineers to debug new products and validate performance.
• Support plant engineers in production capacity planning and continual process improvements.
• Work with engineers from various disciplines to meet business goals.
