Job summary

ConocoPhillips invites engineering interns for the 2027 program across Alaska, Lower 48, and global technical functions. Interns gain practical experience through on-the-job assignments with mentors, tackling various projects in Reservoir, Production, Facilities, Drilling, and Completions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Petroleum engineering, with at least two summers remaining before graduation, and available for a May start

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the listed engineering disciplines.
• Current college level: Sophomore–Senior or graduate student.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply engineering skills through on-the-job assignments.
• Work on assigned projects within Upstream teams under a technical mentor and supervisor.
• Contribute to projects such as forecasting techniques, artificial lift optimization, or facility design improvements.
