Job summary

Repsol is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Development Engineering Team in The Woodlands, TX for the Summer 2027 program. You will contribute to surface facilities design, process modeling, and project execution on real upstream oil and gas projects.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentor with senior engineers, and work on live projects that impact production, efficiency, and safety. Onsite work is required, May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.3 or higher (transcript required).
• Available for 12 weeks May–Aug 2027 and able to start May 17.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, modeling, and optimization of surface facilities.
• Perform basic process simulations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Support field site visits, data gathering, and documentation (MOCs, as‑built drawings).
• Analyze production, pressure, and facility data to identify improvements.
