Job summary

Oxy is seeking a Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience across its oil and gas operations through real-life projects and mentorship. You'll work 12 weeks from May to August, paired with a manager, participate in training, and potentially rotate into Production Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Drilling and Completions, or Operations Engineer roles.

Responsibilities

• Experience real-life projects with hands-on participation in Oxy’s core businesses.
• Interns are paired with a manager and mentor to provide technical guidance throughout the project timeline.
• Attend training and development courses, lunch and learns, field trips, and social activities.
• Final position can be Production Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Drilling and Completions Engineer and Operations Engineer.
