Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering intern/Co-op to contribute to automated testing for Critical Infrastructure Communications. You will design, implement, and automate test cases using Python, Robot Framework, and related tools, while gaining exposure to on-site operations in Rochester, NY.

You will learn to configure test environments, assist in Test Plans, and collaborate with world-class technologists.

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a full-time matriculated and nationally accredited program.
• Completed at least two full years of college.

Responsibilities

• Read and fully understand documentation and engineering specifications provided by customers or publicly available.
• Create and configure test environments including Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Test STAND, Selenium, etc.
• Report product defects into Jira and track work activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and test scripts in Python and Robot Framework.
• Maintain existing automation in LabVIEW and create new test automation as needed.
• Assemble hardware configurations and test setups to enable automation.
