Job summary

GE Vernova invites you to join the Critical Infrastructure Communications team as an Engineering Co-op/Intern at our Rochester, NY site. You will develop automated tests, write Python scripts, and build test suites to support grid-scale engineering efforts.

Work with Robot Framework, Selenium, LabVIEW, and Jira while receiving mentorship from leaders in technology. This role provides hands-on learning in software testing and system verification for industrial communications equipment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time matriculated program in a technical field.
• Completed at least two full years of college.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand documentation and specifications.
• Create and configure test environments (Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Test STAND, Selenium).
• Report defects in Jira and track work activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites.
• Develop Python test scripts and Robot Framework tests.
• Maintain existing automation in LabVIEW and expand automation capabilities.
• Gain exposure to industrialization at the Rochester, NY manufacturing site.
