Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering intern for its Critical Infrastructure Communications CIC team in Rochester, NY. You will develop automated test suites, write Python scripts, and configure test environments using Robot Framework, LabVIEW, and Selenium to validate product requirements.

You will read engineering specs, gain hands-on experience with automation, and collaborate with world-class technologists while contributing to grid modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a technical degree (BS/MS) in CS/SE/CE or related field.
• Enrolled full-time in an accredited program with at least two full years completed.
• Interest in test automation, software testing, and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand product specifications and public/customer docs.
• Configure test environments (Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Selenium, etc.).
• Develop automated test suites and Python scripts to validate requirements.
• Track work in Jira and report progress to project management.
