Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering Intern to contribute to automation and testing for the Critical Infrastructure Communications team. You will create and configure test environments, develop Python scripts, and build automated test suites using Robot Framework and Selenium to validate product requirements.

This co-op/internship offers mentorship from world-class technologists, hands-on project work in Rochester, NY, and exposure to Jira, LabVIEW, CI/CD tools, and hardware test setups to grow

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in CS/Software/CE or equivalent.
• Full-time matriculated student in accredited program.
• Completed at least two full years of college.

Responsibilities

• Read and fully understand documentation and engineering specifications that are public, private and/or provided by customers.
• Create and configure test environments, including Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Test STAND, Selenium, etc.
• Develop and maintain specific product automated test suites.
• Develop test scripts using Python.
• Develop test suites within Robot Framework.
• Maintain existing Automation developed previously in LabVIEW.
• Assemble and maintain the hardware configuration and test setup to enable the test automation.
