Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering intern for the Critical Infrastructure Communications team to develop automated test suites, configure environments, and test radio communications products for the grid of the future.

You will gain hands-on exposure to Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Selenium, and Python, with mentorship from technologists and managers at the Rochester site. Open to U.S. interns; relocation and benefits vary by region.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in a technical field such as CS, Software or Engineering.
• Enrolled full-time and nationally accredited; completed at least two college years.
• Interest in test automation, software development, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand engineering specs and public/private docs.
• Create and configure test environments including Robot Framework, Selenium, LabVIEW, etc.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and scripts in Python.
• Report defects to Jira and track work items.
• Assist in expanding test plans and contributing to CIC RF product testing.
