Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking a student intern to support Distribution Engineering in Pine Bluff. The role focuses on providing day-to-day assistance, site visits, and deployment of management system components to improve safety and grid reliability.

Qualifications

• General electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge
• Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
• Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment

Responsibilities

• Provides support to Distribution Engineering day-to-day tasks
• Travel to work sites within Entergy service territories
• Support the Development, Delivery and Deployment of assigned Management System components
• Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to Management System compliance
• Assist or complete design of jobs that require Asset Management Databases and GDT
• Work on special projects to improve grid reliability
• Respond to equipment failures
